Aqua Zone
Beau Sejour's indoor swimming pools provide facilities for public sessions, swimming lessons, club training, lifeguard courses and pool-based classes.
As sessions vary weekly, please check our online swimming timetable here.
Our aim is to ensure that the pool is accessible for all, so if you have additional requirements, please contact the Centre to discuss your individual requirements.
Babies, children and supervision
Babies should be over four months old before using the pool, and you are encouraged to check with your health visitor. All babies must wear suitable aqua nappies, available for purchase from Reception.
Non-swimmers and/or children under eight years must be actively supervised by a parent or adult (aged 16 or over) at all times, with a maximum of three children and/or non swimmers to one adult.
Zoggs swimming costumes and buoyancy aids
Arm bands and buoyancy aids are also available to buy from Reception, as well as a range of goggles.
We also sell a wide range of Zoggs swimming costumes for men, women and children, in a variety of cuts, styles and patterns. From high-cut, sporty designs, to more structured options with flattering features, come and have a browse. If you can't find your size, please ask at Reception, as we normally have a few extras in stock.
Please note that all items - including googles - are non-refundable once used.
Facilities
We also have changing rooms, showers and lockers available for your convenience. To use the lockers, please bring a 50p coin to activate the lock. The coin will be returned when the locker is unlocked.
Accessibility
The main pool also has a PoolPod system (shown above), which allows pool users with mobility problems - or parents with small children - to enter the pool safely. Beau Sejour have the Cotenda PoolPod 2.0 model; more information can be found on the manufacturer's website here.
Organised sessions for people with additional needs are run by the Guernsey Disability Swimming LBG. Get in touch on 01481 264592 or email [email protected]
